For canonites with no sense of humor, Memory Alpha has created a so-called article on Edward Jellico.

Edward Jellico was the 47th captain of the starship Enterprise. He conspired with Sub Admiral Alynna Nechayev to assume command of the flag ship of the Federation in order to hand noted frog Jean-Luc Picard over to the spoon-heads. It would have worked, too, if it hadn't been for those pesky kids.

As a security measure, Jellico made Commander Data wear a red shirt and stand in front of him at all times.

Data, an officer whose loyalty does not bear close inspection, was particularly sad to see Jellico return command to Picard.

This article is a stub because the previous author was a) unable to gather enough information on the subject, or b) too damn lazy to finish it!
