- Please note that due to technical setup of the wiki software, the first letter of this title is capitalized even though all references to the episode evar, to infinity (and beyond) are supposed to use a lower-case "t" as the first letter. Or else.
tHe mEASuRE oF a mAN was an episode of season 2 of Star Trek: The Next Generation. An early draft of the script was scribbled on the back of a notebook in Sharpie while episode writer Melinda M. Snodgrass drank Jim Beam whiskey and pondered her eventual firing and return to novel writing.
Because the drunken scribble was the original version of the script, Memory Alpha archivists insist that all references to the episode evar, to infinity (and beyond) use the capitalization that drunk-skunk Snodgrass used.
